Healing

Bring everything you’ve been holding – the tension, the noise, the weight of simply managing.

Reflexology is an hour of connection and peace, leaving you feeling lighter than when you arrived.

Reflexology in Redruth, Cornwall

Hello, I'm Lisa. A qualified Reflexologist and full member of the Association of Reflexologists, working from a private studio in the heart of Redruth.

From Nuclear Medicine to Reflexology

After 27 years as a Diagnostic Radiographer in the NHS, I’ve spent a career learning how the body’s systems work, and what happens when they fall out of balance. Reflexology found me almost by accident. I was a client myself for years before I trained, and that hour of stillness each month became something I looked forward to, especially when life felt heavy.

In 2025 I qualified through the Devon School of Clinical Reflexology, and in 2026 I trained directly with Sally Kay in Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage, a specialist technique for reducing swelling and inflammation.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy built on a simple idea: that the feet hold a map of the whole body.

The Body as a Map

All that’s required is for you to sit back, remove your shoes and socks, and let go. Gentle massage and light pressure on specific reflex points can ease help to stress, support circulation, soften pain and improve sleep.

Shaped Around You

Each session opens with a conversation, then I’ll look closely at your feet; their colour, condition and joint position. I use this information as part of a framework to tailor your treatment. From there, an hour of gentle, attentive work, following where the body leads.

Lightness & Healing

Whatever brings you here, my aim stays the same: that you leave feeling lighter, softer, more rested than when you arrived. Not fixed, not solved, just gently and genuinely cared for.

Treatments

Reflexology is a complementary therapy built on a simple idea: that the feet hold a map of the whole body.

Foot Reflexology

The traditional, full treatment, working across reflex points on both feet. This includes nerves, muscles, spine and internal organs. 60 minutes.

Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD)

A specialist technique developed by Sally Kay, aimed at reducing swelling and supporting the lymphatic system. A different approach to the feet than traditional methods. 60 minutes.

Hand Reflexology

When foot reflexology is not an option, then the technique is applied to the hands, wrists and forearms. 30 minutes.

You won’t find add-ons or extras here. I believe reflexology itself, given proper time and attention, is enough to meet most physical and emotional stresses. My role is to hold that space well for you. The power is in the simplicity.

Reflexology for Common Everyday Struggles

Every case study I completed during training involved a real person with a real, ongoing difficulty. Reflexology has supported clients I’ve worked with through:

Insomnia and disrupted sleep

Musculoskeletal (MSK) pain and tension

Long Covid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and digestive discomfort

Hay-fever and seasonal symptoms

Everyday stress and overwhelm

Swollen, heavy lower limbs.

Reflexology sits alongside your healthcare, it never replaces it.
I’m unable to treat clients currently experiencing:

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Cellulitis
Unstable heart conditions
Kidney (renal) failure

Contagious skin infections e.g Athlete’s foot.

If you’re unsure whether reflexology is suitable for you, get in touch and we can talk it through.

Frequently asked questions.

Hopefully, these answers are helpful for the questions you may have, but feel free to reach out if you have any other thoughts.

How long does a session last?

Your first session is 90 minutes, but all other sessions are 60 minutes, unless you choose hand reflexology (30 mins).

No. You’ll only need to remove your shoes and socks. You can stay fully clothed throughout. For hand reflexology I’ll ask if you can remove watches or jewellery.
Your first session is 90 minutes, including a consultation, so I can understand your health history and what’s brought you in. This will give me ideas where to focus treatment. I’ll then examine your feet before starting the treatment itself.
It shouldn’t be. Some areas may feel more tender if there’s an imbalance, but pressure is always adjusted to what’s comfortable for you.
No. Reflexology is a complementary therapy and works alongside your existing healthcare, never in place of it.
